Brian and Val Blewett built their home, Waiteti Lakeside Lodge, from cedar and Hinuera stone with Pine wood panelling and native Rimu stairs which lead to the private guest floor above. 

With a lodge feel and a relaxed B & B atmosphere you can relax and enjoy an extensive English/European style cooked breakfast made to order in the lake-edge dining room.

A 1930’s character cottage made of solid heart Rimu, fully restored and self-contained, is also available adjacent to Waiteti Lodge on the lake edge.  Nicknamed “The Great Kiwi Bach”, this cottage is a long term rental property
